Abstract
Objective To discuss the relationship among the expression of soluable CD154 (sCD154) in serum and plasma and incidence, clinic treatment of patients with idiopathic thrombocy- topenic purpura (ITP).Methods ELISA methods to determine the level of sCD154 were applied in 12 patients with ITP before and after cure. Results The expression of plasma sCD154 was much higher than that in the controls before cure (P0.01),and it decreased after cure while the expression of serum sCD154 was lower than that in the controls before(P0.01),and increased after cure(P0.05).Conclu- sion The plasma sCD154 of patients with ITP had relationship with the incidence of ITP and it can be one of the factors to diagnose ITP and evalute effect of treatment. The level of serum sCD154 may be a sign of platelets reproducing.
