Abstract

Democracy and rule of law are the objectives and basic contents of political civilization construction for China.It would help us have a comprehensive understanding on them and put on right position between them to clarify the relationship between democracy and rule of law.Democracy and rule of law belong to two subject categories theoretically,with different even conflicting basic concept,scope,value foundation and relations with power.And the two also support each other closely,and together,constitute the unity of political civilization.It is indispensable to promote democracy and rule of law to promote the law of election.
