Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with microwave in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia.Method 114 cases of postherpetic neuralgia patients in the community from April 2010 to September 2012 were chosen as the research object. They were randomly divided into the equal two groups. The observation group was taken with microwave acupuncture treatment, and the control group was treated with acupuncture treatment. One month after the treatment, the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.5%,the treatment of total effective rate in the control group was 86.0%,the total efficiency rate in the two groups of patients, there was statistically significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with microwave in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia is significantly better than simple acupuncture treatment, and it is worthy of further promotion and application.
