Abstract
The establishment of evaluation system of journals is vitally important both to raise the level and to improve the quality of academic journals. Though there exists difference between Chinese core journals and JCR etc. in criterion standards of selection and evaluation methods, the guiding idea and principles are the same. Basing on the discussion of the functions of evaluation of Chinese core journals, this paper investigates the problems in evaluation of comprehensive academic journals, studying the relation between the criterion system of evaluation of academic journals and the influence factors, half-life of quotation,quotation rate, inclusion rate in indexing system, and the condition of grant-in-aid of articles.
