Features,Process and Results of Chinese Academic Journal Evaluation

Abstract

The evaluation object is strictly defined as journal and the evaluation is evaluational management-oriented and information service-oriented.The evaluation index system emphasizes the academic impact factor and the web impact factor of the journals.It is the first time to select authorative and at home and abroad.The self-constructed evaluation information system greatly improved the accuracy and efficiency.The selection of the source journals,subjects classification,evaluation method,evaluation index system and data source,the number definition of core journals and expert review were detailedly explained.The subject distribution,regional distribution of the core journals,science journals' being included by important foreign database,the impact factor of the comprehensive core journals and academic English journals are analyzed.
