Cooperation and Conflicts Between Soviet Russia and Sun Yat-sen's Kuomintang and the Impact on the First Kuomintang-Communists Cooperation

The first Kuomintang-Communists Cooperation was founded by the promotion and the guidance of Soviet Russia and Communist International.It was also the result of Soviet Russia's policy to China.Therefore,it reflected Soviet Russia and Communist International's contradiction as well as the interaction between the ideological pursuit for the communist revolution of the world and the realistic consideration about national interest.Due to the contradiction of Soviet Russia's policy to China and the difference of the ideology and national interest between Soviet and Sun Yat-sen's Kuomintang,their cooperation traversed a complex and tortuous course,being full of chasms and contradictions,which sharpened the struggle within the democratic united front and split it eventually.
