Effective ways to improve the efficiency of the sludge dewatering system in sewage treament plant

Abstract
The problems existed in the process of sludge dewatering in water treatment plant were analyzed,and the idea and measurements for reconstructing the sludge-storage capacity and the adjustment of sludge dewatering equipments were put forward. Results showed that the measures can improve sludge concentration,reduce electricity consumption,flocculants consumption,water consumption,and water content of sludge in the process of sludge dewatering,and save operation costs.
