Idea and Measures for Reconstruction of Sludge Storage Tank in WWTP of Three Gorges Reservoir Region

Abstract

The problems existing in sludge dewatering in Jijiang Wastewater Treatment Plant of Jiangjin City were analyzed,and the idea and measures for reconstructing the sludge flowing mode into the sludge storage tank were put forward.The operation results show that the measures can improve sludge storage capacity,reduce electricity consumption in sludge dewatering,flocculants consumption and water content of sludge cake,and save operation cost.
