Advance on the Pathogenesis of Metabolic Syndrome

A prevalence of Metabolic Syndrome(MS) has been increasing recently when our economy is bursting and the change of lifestyle.MS may manifest as so many metabolic abnormalities,such as obesity,hypertension and hyperlipidemia and so on.Obesity,overweight,poor glucose regulation,even diabetes which are believed to be the main components of MS.MS has been still a hot point in metabolic diseases,however,the exact pathogenesis still remains unclear by now.Present studies of MS mainly focus on obesity,insulin resistance,lipid toxicity,regulation of adipose cytokine and various inflammatory reaction profiles.Some of the studies have got a significant advance on it.
