Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of community health education on the compliant behaviors in patients with diabetes.Method 90 residents with diabetes were divided into two groups.The patients in the intervention group received designed health education and instruction for one year,while no intervention was provided for the patients in control group.Then,the patients' compliant behaviors and blood sugar level were evaluated one year later.Result The patients' compliant behaviors and control of blood sugar level in intervention group were both better than that of control group(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion Community health education could improve diabetic patients' compliant behaviors and promote the control of blood sugar level effectively.
