Abstract
? Objective To study the clinical significance of CD44v6 mRNA and nm23H1 mRNA expressions and their correlation. Methods Catalyzed signal amplification method of in situ hybridization was used to detect the expression of CD44v6 mRNA and nm23H1 mRNA in 65 cases of lung cancer. The clinical pathologic parameter and follow up material were also investigated. Results The positive expression rates of CD44v6 mRNA and nm23H1 mRNA were 66 2% and 49 2% respectively in lung cancer. The overexpression of CD44v6 mRNA and the low expression of nm23H1 mRNA were correlated with the pathological tumor node metastasis stage, pathology grade and lymph node metastasis.CD44v6 mRNA expression was negatively correlated with nm23H1 mRNA expression. Conclusion Considering their significant correlation in lung cancer, combining the detection of the expression of these two mRNA may sevre as an important index to evaluate the metastasis and prognosis of lung cancer.\;〔
