Effect of Liuwei Nengxiao on the treatment of children's functional constipation

Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety of Liuwei Nengxiao capsule on children's functional constipation.Method:100 Chidren with functional constipation were divided randomly into treatmen group and control group,with 50 cases per group.Both groups were given some basic treatments according to the pathogenesis of function constipation.In addition,the treatment group were treated with Liuwei Nengxiao 13～1 tablets every time,two times a day for 1～2 weeks.Result:After the treatment and 14 days after the treatment,the cases with excretory difficulty of treatment group were obviously less than that of control group.The difference was remarkable(P0.05).Conclusion:Liuwei Nengxiao capsule is effective for treating childen's functional constipation with less adverse reaction.
