Abstract
Objective To investigate antimicrobial the resistance of Streptococcus pneumoniae(S.pneumoniae). Methods 126 S.pneumoniae strains were collected and identified by VITEK-32.Susceptibility to antibiotics was determined by disc diffusion test. Results The positive rates of penicillin-resistant S.pneumoniae(PRSP) and penicillin-intermediate S.pneumoniae(PISP) were 16.7% and 23.0% respectively. The resistance rates to erythromycin, sulfamethoxazole and clindamycin were 69.0%,67.5% and 65.9% respectively. Conclusions The penicillin-resistant rate of S.pneumoniae is low,in which PISP is the majority.
