Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of psychological intervention on mental health and quality of life in the patients with primary liver cancer.Methods:Sixty-four cases of primary liver cancer were randomly divided into intervention group and control group in accordance with the principle of matching,with 32 cases for each group.Both groups received conventional medical treatment and care and the psychological intervention was added to the intervention group,including psychological intervention,physical function intervention and life style intervention.Symptom checklist,quality of life core rating scale for cancer patients and the psychological status and quality of life 3 months after behavioral intervention were used to evaluate the patients and the comparison was made with the control group.Results:The total average symptom checklist,and other various factor scores were significantly lower in the intervention group after psychological intervention than those of the control group,with a significant difference.Quality of Life Scale showed overall health and quality of life in the intervention group was significantly increased compared with the control group and somatic symptoms were significantly reduced in the intervention group than those in the control group,with a significant difference.Conclusion:The behavioral intervention can significantly improve the psychological status and improve quality of life in patients with liver cancer
