Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of psychological intervention on life quality of cancer patients.Method:Fifty - six hospitalized cancer patients were randomly divided into control group(28 cases)and intervention group(28 cases) using random number tables.General nursing including chemotherapy care,radiotherapy care and symptom control were given to the control group. Additional psychological intervention was given to the intervention group on the basis of above general nursing.Life Quality Core Questionnaire from European Research and Treatment of Cancer Organization was applied to evaluate the life quality of these two groups of patient when discharged.Results:The function scal showed that the body function enhanced obviously in intervention group(P0.05),emotional function,cognitive function also improved significanly(P0.05 ) in intervention group.Symptom scale showed that fatigue,pain,nausea and vomit,dyspnea,somnipathy,decreased appetite,constipation and diarrhea improved obviously in the interventional group(P0.05 ).The life quality of intervention group was significantly better than those in control group(P0.05 ).Conclusion: Psychological intervention can enhance the physical function,mood and cognitive cognition of cancer patients as well as control and alleviate mental and physical symptoms.Life quality of cancer patients improves with good self - evaluate on health condition.
