Abstract

【Objective】 To compare the effect and side effect of propafenone and verapamil on paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia(PSVT).【Methods】 68 cases with PSVT in emergency department were divided into propafenone and verapamil goup randomLy.In propafenone group took 35mg～140mg propafenone intravenous injection.In verapamil group were given 5mg～10mg verapamil.【Results】 There's no stastically significance(P0.05) on PSVT by propafenone and verapamil.The side effect is superior to propafenone.【Conclusion】 Propafenone is the first choice for the therapy of PSVT.when we select verapamol,we should pay attention to the side effect.
