Abstract

Xylanase producing strains CS-1 and CS-2 were obtained from soil by plate screening method, the xylanase activity of strain CS-2 was superior to the strain CS-1.Meantime,the optimal fermentation condition for producing xylanase with strain CS-2 is as following: the bagasse for carbon source is 3.0 g/ml,the NH4Cl for nitrogen source is 0.5 g/ml,the inoculum dosage is 10%,the liquid volume is 50 ml in 250 ml flask, the pH value is 8.0,the temperature is 55 ℃,the rotary speed is 160 r/min,the fermentation time is 3 days.Under the condition, the xylanase activity was up to 7.980 U/ml.
