Abstract

Objective: To compare the clinical effects and adverse reactions of reboxetine and clomipramine in the treatment of depression associated with anxiety.Methods:One hundred and eleven Patients depression associated with anxiety were divided into 2 groups:Fifty-six Patients were treated with reboxetine,8~12mg,po,bid for 6 weeks;fifty-five patients were treated with clomipramine,100~200mg,po,bid for 6 weeks.Results:The marked effective rate of reboxetine group and clomipramine group were 73.2% and 67.3%(p0.05) in treating depression symptoms,but the marked effective rate of reboxetine group and clomipramine group were 78.8%and 43.6%(p0.05) in treating anxiety symptoms.The adverse reactions in reboxetine group and clomipramine group should on significant difference.Couclusion: Reboxetine and clomipramine is a safe and effective drug for treatment of depression,but reboxetine is superior to clomipramine in reducing anxiety symptoms.
