Water repellent finish of cotton fabrics with fluorine-free agent HA-210

Abstract

The emulsifying processes of fluorine-free water repellent agent HA-210 were investigated,and its finishing processes were optimized.The results showed that emulsifying processes was as follows: concentration of emulsifier Tween-80 40%,emulsifying for 10 min at shearing rate 6 500 r/min;Finishing processes were finishing agent HA-210 4%(wt%),catalyst 1%(wt%),pre-drying at 100 ℃ for 2 min,curing at 150 ℃ for 2 min,water repellent grade of the treated cotton could reach 80 and it could still reach 70 after 10 washing cycles.
