Clinical research about combined application of erythromycin in the prevention of postoperative adhesive ileus during perioperation

Objective To investigate the effects of combined application of erythromycin in the prevention of postoperative adhesive ileus during perioperation. Methods 113 patients received abdominal operation were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, and correlated with status of peritoneal adhesion was recorded. Follow up time was 30 months and incidence of adhesive ileus was observated. Results In the incidence of adhesive ileus, the experimental group was obviously lower than that control group (P 0.05).No obvious side reactions were found in patients combined with erythromycin. Conclusion Using erythromycin etc drugs and other therapeutic measure can prevent postoperative adhesive ileus during perioperation. It's effect is a affirmed and safe.
