Abstract

The essay systematically analyzes the main factors affecting sustainable development of economy in mountainous regions by taking the southwest five counties of Shaoyang for an instance: natural geography factors. social and cultural factors. the factors of market. decisions made by the subject of economy and government, and give some advise on the sustainable development of this region.
