Abstract
Advocating nurturing talented persons who develop all round in moral,intellectual and physical education and have abilities of innovation,and lifetime study is the chief content of Professor Qian Weichang's educational thoughts,which is one of the precious thinking resources in the field of higher education.In the meantime,many institutions of higher learning in china are carrying out studying his educational ideas.Jiangnan University,located in Professor's hometown,has got his concern,guidance and help for 20 years.Good effect has been achieved in the process of this university's learning,studying and practicing his educational ideas.
