Abstract

A brief review of Qian Weichang's life is made from the perspective of higher education.Then,the background of Qian Weichang's educational thoughts is analyzed,and the main contents of his higher educational thoughts are summarized.Finally,the introduction is given to his practice of education reform in Shanghai Industrial University and Shanghai University.His fruitful thinking about and exploration into higher education teaching is our precious cultural wealth.
