Acanthopanax Senticosus Injection Combined with Lotensin for Microalbuminuria in Patients with Diabetic Nephropathy

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Acanthopanax senticosus injection and Lotensin in the treatment of early diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods Sixty cases with early DN were divided into control group(n=28)and treatment group(n=34)randomly.Both groups were basically treated with the method of reducing blood sugar and lipid,controlling blood pressure,administering with Lotensin and taking low protein diet.The treatment group was additional administered with Acanthopanax senticosus injection.The course of treatment was both 2 to 3 weeks.Results Levels of blood fat(TG and TC)and Urinary albumin excretion(UAE)lowered significantly after treatment in both groups(P0.01),and there was obviously difference between the two groups(P0.05).No side effects were found.Conclusions Lotensin combined with Acanthopanax senticosus injection is an ideal therapy for early DN.
