Abstract
The factors of lymphangiogenesis which is overexpressed in tumor can induce more new lymphatic to promote tumour metastasis.Lymphangiogenesis plays an important role in tumour metastasis.Vascular endothelial growth factor-A(VEGF-A) is a member of the VEGF family. Many studies indicated that VEGF-A not only promotes lymphangiogenesis, but also produces lymphatic endothelial growth factor transfer to the sentinel lymph node before primary cancer metastasis. In recent years, lymphatic metastasis become anthor hot research topic after blood vessels metastasis. Here is to review the progress of VEGF-A and tumor 1ymphangiogenesis.
