Acinetobacter baumannii infection: a drug resistance analysis.

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To analyze the drug resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii isolates.METHODS Bacteria were got from specimens of patients and identified with ATB and the commonly used antibiotic were tested by K-B method.RESULTS There were 655 ABA strains isolated(without duplicate strain) during from 2006 to 2008,ie,139 in 2006,174 in 2007,and 342 in 2008.The sensitivity test result indicated that except imipenem and cefoperazone/sulbactam the drug-resistance rate of other antibiotics was higher than 50.0%.And pan-resistant bacteria were 61.8%.CONCLUSIONS The drug resistance of ABA rate is high.We should execute the aseptic operation strictly,strengthen the drug sensitivity examination,advocate the reasonable use of antibiotics,and prevent the outbreak.
