Abstract

In this paper the heavy rail output in four iron and steel manufacturers in China in the the recent years was briefly reviewed The major problems and corresponding solutions in the continuous casting process of heavy rail steel were introduced.The continuous casting equipments and technical features of heavy rail in each steel plants were analyzed.
