Abstract
Objective To investigate the damages of morning blood pressure surge(MBPS) of hypertension patients on the cardiovascular structures and renal functions. Methods 164 patients were divided into MBPS group(n=65) and non-MBPS group(n=99) according to 24h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.Body mass index(BMI) and left ventricular mass index(LVMI)were calculated, serum lipids profile, fasting blood glucose, creatinine, urinary microalbumin,α1-microglobulin,urinary β2–microglobulin were examined. Results 24-hour,day and night systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in MBPS group were significantly higher than those in non-MBPS group(P0.05).LVMI,urinary microalbumin,α1-microglobulin,urinary β2–microglobulin in MBPS group were higher than those in non-MBPS group(P0.05).Conclusion The hypertension patients with MBPS were tended to suffer more damage of cardiac structures and renal functions.
