The comparation between laparoscopic cluster ligation and high ligation of internal spermatic veins

Objective:To assess the advantages of laparoscopic cluster ligation of internal spermatic veins in treatment of varicocele.Methods:36 patients who underwent laparoscopic cluster ligation and 38 patients who received laparoscopic high ligation of internal spermatic vein were retrospectively analyzed.Results:Significant differences were found on the duration of operation time,blood loss,healing and recurrence rate between two groups.Conclusions:Laparoscopic cluster ligation of internal spermatic vein has the advantages of shorter operative time,less blood loss,higher sceurity and healing rate when compared to laparoscopic hign ligation of internal spermatic vein in treatment of varicocele.
