Abstract
A new catalytic spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of palladium(Ⅱ).The method is based on the fact that traces of palladium(Ⅱ) exert a catalytic action on the oxidative decolorizing between pB-chororphosphonazo and potassium bromate in H 2SO 4 medium. The detection limit is 1.33×10 -10 ?g/mL,for Pd(Ⅱ),the range of the determination of Pd(Ⅱ) is 0~0.4?μg/10?mL.Palladium samples were dissolved in aqua regia and the obtained trace palladium was separatied and enriched by polyamide. The method has been applied to the determination of trace palladium with satisfactory results
