The Protection and Utilization of Pteridophytic Resources in Shilin Region ,Yunnan

This paper deals with the pteridophytic resources from the Shilin of Yunnan,based on field investigation,sample collecting and literature review,the studies are carried out.It is now known that there are 112 species (including transformed varieties and forms)of pterido- phytes,which belong to 57 genera and 30 families,from the Shilin of Yunnan. 2 specie is rare and endangered pteridophyte of national key preserving. Through the basic use of the pteridophytes,they can be classified into 6 types:medicinal pteridophytic resources,ornamental pteridophytes,edible pteridophytic resources,indicator pteridophytic resources,chemical industrial-raw material pteridophytic resources,forage and green manure pteridophytic resources etc.The necessity of protection and utilization of pteridophytic resources were analyzed.And the suggestions for protecting, developing and utilizing the wild plant resources in Shilin of Yunnan were proposed.
