Abstract

Objective:To explore the value of diagnosis of ureteral stones by B-ultrasonography.Methods:To analyse the results of 2 258 cases of urinary tract stones by B-ultrasonography and X-ray examination.Results:2 258 cases were performed extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, drugs and surgical treatment. In 2 258 cases,58 cases were misdiagnosed by B-ultrasound examination, and the diagnostic accuracy rate was 97.4%.Conclusions:The patients suspected having ureteral stone should examine with B-Ultrasonography,it can clearly show various types of stone(including X-ray negative stones). The diagnosis of ureteral stones with B-Ultrasonography may have high value in clinical practice.
