38 cases of dislocation of acromioclavicular joint cured with tension band internal fixation wire

Abstract

Objective Observe the curative effect of dislocation of acromioclavicular joint treated by means of tension band wire internal fixation.Methods 38 cases were followed up for on average 1 year and 3 months.Results Of all the 38 cases,31 were assessed as “excellent”(covering 81.5%),7 cases as “good”(covering 18.4%).No complication was found.All cases got satisfactory curative effect.Conclusion The treatment for dislocation of acromioclavicular joint by means of tension band wire internal fixation is fast,simple,easy and effective.
