Abstract
The color reaction of kaempferol with aluminum(Ⅲ) was studied. In the presence of pH 5.6 buffer solution and CPB medium, kaempferol can react with aluminum(Ⅲ) to form a stable 3∶1 complex. The malor absorptivity is 1.63×10 4L·mol -1 ·cm -1 at 425nm.Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0—20μg/25mL.This method can be applied to the determination of aluminum in tobacco with satisfactory results.
