Abstract
Through the analysis of photovoltaic(PV) cell characteristics,and the study of traditional incremental conductance of maximum power point tracking methods,the three-stage variable step size incremental conductance algorithm of MPPT technology is proposed.The simulation model is established by Matlab/Simulink to compare with the traditional incremental conductance meth od.The simulation results show that the three-stage variable step size incremental conductance algorithm can make the photovolta ic generation system quickly,accurately and stably track the maximum power point,and weaken the oscillation around the maxi mum power point with good dynamic and steady-state characteristics.
