Abstract
Based on maximum power point tracking( MPPT) control for PV power generation system,a method combining constant voltage and adaptive variable step size incremental conductance is proposed. Constant voltage method is firstly used to adjust operating point quickly approach the maximum power point( MPP) of PV array, and then the variable step size incremental conductance method is adopted to achieve accurate MPPT control. Simulation results show that this kind of method of adaptive variable step size incremental conductance can track the MPP of PV cells quickly and accurately, avoid oscillation near MPPT and improve the system stability and efficiency of energy conversion.
