My View on the Rules of the New Chinese Poetry

The rhythmic unit of the New Chinese Poetry is either a phonetic group or a sense group, so the New Chinese Poetry has two systems -one consisting of poetic lines formed by continually aligned phonetic groups and one by symmetrically arranged sense groups. The rhyme scheme of the New Chinese Poetry is divided into traditional and modern types. Apart from rhythm and rhyme, there are other rules of the New Chinese Poetry such as the accumulation of similar sounds.
