Abstract

[Objective] To investigate the clinical effect of ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy for the treatment of ureteral calculi.[Methods] Six hundred and twenty three patients suffered from ureteral calculi were treated by ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy between February 2005 and April 2007.[Results]Five hundred and fifty two patients underwent operation successfully.No severe complications were observed.[Conclusion] Ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy for the treatment of ureteral calculi is effective and safe.
