Abstract
In this paper,the FEM model of a car's body-in-white is created with Hypermesh/Optistruct,an FEM software.Through the bending and torsion stiffness analysis of this FEM model,stiffness characteristics of body-in-white are acquired.It will supply the reference standard for structure optimization design.Moreover,it is helpful to improve the comfort and safety of the vehicle.
