Abstract

Objective To analyse efficacy and side effect of aripiprazole in the treatment of patients with schizophrenia.Methods 80 patients of schizophrenia were divided into aripiprazole group and risperidone group for the treatment of 6 weeks.The efficacy and side effect were evaluated with PANSS,CGI-SI and TESS respectively.Results There were no significantly differences of the efficacy between aripiprazole group and risperidone group in the treatment of the patients with schizophrenia.The side effects of aripiprazole were slighter and fewer than that of risperidone group.Conclusion Aripiprazole has an efficacy obiously in improving to the symptoms of patients with schizophrenia.
