Abstract

Maize hybrid Danyu47 was bred in Dandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the winter of 1995 by using Santuan-9 as the female parent and Dan3130 as the male parent. The hybrid has been tested demonstrated and planted in many parts of China since 1997 and it was clear that it put up the character of moderate maturity high resistance to diseases and lodging steady yield and ever green plant etc. Danyu47 is a superior maize hybrid.
