Awareness survey of AIDS about different age group in Huang Jiang Town of Dongguan City

Objective Investigation and understanding,Huang Jiang Town,awareness of AIDS among different age levels,the status quo attitude. Methods Town area of the Yellow farmers,cadres,workers,service personnel,medical staff,students and other groups a total of 2754 were six categories,using self-designed ques-tionnaire,including the general knowledge about AIDS,mode of transmission and prevention of knowledge of AIDS patient's attitude,behavior and AIDS-related laws and regulations. Results Investigated populations,general knowledge of AIDS awareness rate is different from the overall awareness rate of 94. 99%. Residents of all ages to the three main route of transmission of awareness were above 80% ,but did not affect transmission of low rate of correct understanding. Conclusion AIDS knowledge to master the masses of the weak points,the use of residents willing to accept the way,targeted to carry out missionary work,they can more effectively improve the city's population of AIDS knowledge and awareness,to achieve the desired objectives.
