Abstract

Objective: To study the distribution pattern of HPV genotypes in different age groups of women in Meizhou area.Method: Cervical tissue specimens from 12919 women were examined with DNA extract PCR and nucleic acid hybridization technique(cape medical system)to determine the HPV genotypes associated with the infected specimens(including HPV cp8304,6,11,16,18,31,33,35,39,42,43,44,45,51,52,53,56,58,59,66,68).Result:HPV was detected with a positive rate of 21.8%(2822/12919).Among the higll risk genotypes,HPV 16 was the most prevalent(5.60%),followed by HPV58,52,31,33 in order. The low risk genotypes consisted of chiefly HPV 11,HPV6.HPV positive rate in different age groups was 40-44 years,30-34 years,35-39 years. Conclusion:The most prevalent HPV genotypes in women of Meizhou area are HPV16(5.60%),HPV58(2.74%),HPV52(2.70%),HPV31(2.14%) and HPV33(1.28%),with significance difference among the HPV positive rates in different age groups.HPV16 is the most hish risk genotype in specimens.Regular follow-up is most desirable in infected cases.
