Training New-type Farmers in View of Urban-rural Income Gap

New-type farmers are the integral part and basic force of the new rural construction.Training new-type farmers is not only an inevitable requirement for the new rural construction,but also the key to increase the incomes of farmers.It is of great significance to minimize the income gap between urban and rural people.Analyzing the existing income gap,the bottleneck factors for the increase in farmers' incomes are found,i.e.,the traditional ideas,state of health,working competence and job skill.Some policies are therefore suggested with corresponding measures proposed to take so as to benefit the training of new-type farmers,such as strengthening cultural construction,increasing investment in rural public products,promoting actively the advanced agrotechniques and stepping up the effort to train farmers.
