Abstract

The preparation method of 4-aminophenylacetic acid by reduction of 4-nitrophenylacetic acid with hydrazine hydrate in presence of Pd / C catalyst was studied. The influences on the product yield of reaction time,reaction temperature and quantities of hydrazine hydrate and catalyst used were investigated. Under the optimum conditions,the yield of 4-aminophenylacetic acid could reach 89. 52%. IR and1HNMR proved the structure of product.
