Abstract

In light of the archetype theory,this paper aims to discover the implications in Milan Kundera's the Unbearable Lightness of Being by tracing some characters whose archetypes stem from The Bible and Greek Myth.Therefore,it can provide a new reading-perspective for readers to appreciate this novel.
