Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of external therapy including frequence spectrum radiation, point application and point injection, combined with internal administration of western and Chinese medicines on bronchial asthma. Methods 144 cases of bronchial asthma were randomly divided into treatment group(n=86) and control goup(n=58).The patients in the control group were given oral Chinese medicine and Bit aerosol, while the patients in the treatment group were not only given the same therapy as those in the control group, but also external therapies.Short-term and long-term effects, score of attack frequency and adverse events were observed, and levels of serum IgE was determined. Results The total effective rate of short-term effect in the treatment group and the control group were 80.23% and 55.17% respectively;while the total effective rate of long-term effect were 86.05% and 68.97% respectively(P0.01).The score of attack frequency in the treatment group were lower than that in the control group(P0.05).The normalization rate of IgE in the treatment group was 71.67%,higher than 56.52% in the control group(P0.01).Conclusion Internal-external comprehensive therapy may improve the clinical symptoms, reduce acute attack, and has good short-term and long-term effects on bronchial asthma.
