Abstract
The article discusses the elimination of phenol with sodium permanganate oxidation in water. The experimental results show that with the increase of sodium permanganate, the elimination rate of phenol increases. With the concentration of phenol 10 mg/L, temperature 18 ℃, pH 6.8, reaction time 30min, and the addition of sodium permanganate 30 mg/L, the phenol elimination rate reaches 95.38 %. The sodium permanganate adduction mechanism was also analyzed in the article.
