Study on Toxicity of 5% Emamectin Benzoate Benzoate Water Dispersible Granules

[Objective] To evaluate the acute toxicity of 5% emamectin benzoate benzoate water dispersible granules.[Method] Acute oral toxicity test,acute dermal toxicity test,acute inhalation toxicity on rats,eye and dermal irritation test on rabbits and skin sensitization test on emamectin benzoate benzoate water dispersible granules of 5% preparations according to Toxicological Test Methods of Pesticide for Registration(GB15670-1995).[Result] The acute oral,dermal and inhalation toxicity tests showed that all preparations belonged to low toxicity.Irritation test showed that all preparations had no irritation effect on skin of rabbits and had certain irritation effect on eyes of rabbits.Skin sensitization test showed no skin sensitization was caused by preparations.[Conclusion] The study will provide toxicology basis for evaluating acute toxicity of 5% emamectin benzoate benzoate water dispersible granules.
