Abstract

The study investigates the efficiency of the nitrogen removal of sewage from agricultural non - point source by integrated constructed wetland built on the northern bank of Lake Fuxian. The results demonstrate the capacity of nitrogen removal of the wetland is excellent. With the average hydrologic budget of 37mm. d~'and the average nitrogen loading of 3. 315g. m-2·d-1,the average removal rates of the wetland for varied nitrogen are 62. 7% (NOx-) ,53.8%(NH4+) ,62.4% (TON) and 57.5%(TN) ,respectively.
